i created folders directly on my server through the control panel, to see if it worked but it did not. i see the directories and the subdirectories (i mean all the files and its contents) on both the remote site and in dreamweaver when i'm uploading . . . . .

When you say you can't "see it", what does that mean? Are you sure you uploaded your files and folder to the right space in your hosting area?

absolutely . . . . . public_html and all folders are there . . . . . . that is why i dont know what else is wrong . . .i'm contacting the hosting support and see what they have to say. the first day i uploaded on the wrong place, i corrected that. then for know what reason , i uploaded through dreamweaver and dw was not uploading the subdirectories. here david suggested to use coreftp ; i did and now all files and folders are in the public_html folder in the host server . . .so :( frustrated on this end :(

When I check out the site I do not see an index.html in the root folder. This is your home page and the page the server will look for when you type in
minervawebdesign.com Make sure your home page is named index.html It MUST be in the root folder. Looks like you may have it in the folder named

your site seems to run from portada_home directory

you need to move the index file out of this Dir and change the links accordingly
