Hi,

Is it possible does anyone know to put a 3d model of a building on a site and the user would have the ability to turn it and view it from different angles such as one could in e.g. AutoCad or pro-engineer.

Or, would I have to get shots of each angle and allow the user to press right, left, up and down links for the different angles?

Thanks

Stoney

can't think og anything else than flash at the moment, either natively (not sure it will work as you have to use alot of actionscript to fake 3d in flash) or some third party integration.

I have no idea how it's done but I've seen sites with "Virtual Tours" (walking through a home thats for sale, rotating a car to see all sides"). Here are a couple of sites that use this. Looks like it's some type of Quick Time

i think stoney wants a dwg > flash/shockwave/havok plugin

so you can pan and rotate schematics and models without scanning them

drop autodesk an email and ask them directly. If its been built they will be aware of it.
