View Full Version : Frame Target

I am having trouble linking layers to my home page within the same browser. In other words, when I click on one of my links, it opens up a new browser, instead of using the same browser. Any help I GREATLY appreciate.

On the photos and link pages, the links work within the browser, on the home page, it does not. Also, somehow I messed up the html code on the photos page with the formatting. Have any suggestions on how to fix? Thanks so much!

they are working did you fix this?

No it's not fixed. It doesn't work on the homepage. Also if you've seen the photos page, the overall design is distorted. I can't seem to fix this either.

re the links
where you have
<a href="links.htm" target="_self">Links</a>
target="_self" will open in the same browser window

<a href="links.htm" target="_blank">Links</a> will open in a new browser window

I didnt have time to check the photo page ,sorry. but if I were you make a copy and re do the table structure.

I had the same problem and I breakthrough 2 minutes ago and you're the first I'm telling
Here is my code
<iframe src="local sites/mike's test/content.htm" name="iframe" width="327" height="600" frameborder="0" >iframe</iframe>
<p><a href="local sites/mike's test/content2.htm" target="iframe">click here</a></p>
the key is that you need the name="" thing in your source section so that when you assign the target it knows where to go.

Hope that helps.
