I'm creating a page with a dropdown menu based on one I found on www.cssplay.co.uk

I've been modifying the code to suit my needs but apart from the last menu (contact us) I can't find anywhere in the code that tells the primary dropdown menus what horizontal position to use. I'd like to move the primary menus to the left a bit but don't know what code to modify.

My page can be found here:

Any help, as always, gratefully received.

Modify the CSS code in these 2 sections.
The CSS property TOP is what places the Drop Down menu vertically.

/* specific to non IE browsers */
/*both dropdowns*/
.menu1 ul li:hover ul {
display:block;
position:absolute;
top:30px;
margin-top:1px;
width:154px;
border-bottom:1px solid #000;
}

/* specific to IE5.5 and IE6 browsers */
/*both dropdowns*/
.menu1 ul li a:hover ul {
display:block;
position:absolute;
top:28px; t\op:31px;
background:#fff;
border-bottom:1px solid #000;
}

Thanks Domedia for your reply but I want to know what code places the menus horizontally not vertically.

Think I figured it out. The drop down menu AUTOMATICALLY lines up on the left unless otherwise stated.

Try to add another line of CSS is the 2 above:

left: 10px;

adjust as needed.

....something like this:
left:-10px;

With the negative in front of the 10 it works perfectly!

Now why didn't I figure that out!!! :roll:
