Hey, I was going throught your PHP - A Beginners Guide (http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/vtm/php-mysql-apache.php) tutorial and I dont know if i missed something or what but from part 5 to part 6 there is a gap. Part 6 starts out by saying "now that you have sucessfully coded info.php" and shows 2 new .php files in the directorys that were made. Maybe a link got messed up or something or maybe I am missing something. I just loved the tutorial and really wanted to finnish it but with that I can go no further. Please help me out and message me on here or on AIM.

ok i have a coding question now. I am on part 7 toward the end when you go to preview the dwc.php file to see if it worked and Dreamweaver has a pop up that says "To preview pages containing server-side code, you need a testing server. Would you like to specify one?" and when I click Yes it makes me create a whole new web site. What should i do?

create a blank page. name it info.php

in the page add the following line...

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

save the file in your local and remote directory

browse the file in your browser using...

http://localhost/Test/info.php

post what you see in the page

ok php is installed and working

and your settings are correct

Dont know what else it can be... sorry

ya but whats weird is when i manually go to see the preview like i did for the info.php one for the one the tutorial says to make.

This is what it says:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')', expecting T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in G:\Documents and Settings\Justin\Local Root\Test\Connections\connection.php on line 9

what does that mean and how do i fix it?
