So I finally was able to get the entire page centered in the window, but now I have another problem that I can't figure out. The page lloks great in IE7, but when I view the page through Firefox the navigation buttons are not spaced correctly and on another page where I have pictures with text next to the pictures, the text is moved and overlapping the pictures. Very strange and again everything is perfect in IE7. Please help.

Well it sounds like your using percents sometimes instead of pixels. would say post a link and i will take a look at the code. Firefox, no like percents.

your layers are all screwed up. you have not named any of the layers so the css will properly know how to place them.

Solutions:

1. use tables and rebuild the page. It is normally easier for new people.

2. name the layers the right way so css recognizes them.

I have attached a pic of what the page actually looks like in dreamweaver. I would really try tables for ease. you can pm for more assistance

umm 9supratt4 (http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/forum/member.php?u=24535), are you manually re-sizing your images inside ur code.

this is very bad - images should be optimised and saved out in the correct size you want.

photoshop or fireworks is good for this.
if u dont have either of those good freeware graphic software is: GIMP
