Can’t figure out how to get the text in my banner to align to the bottom right corner of my banner. Got it aligned right but how do I get it along the bottom? Changing ‘Vertical alignment’ under ‘Block’ doesn’t do it.

#banner {
height: 75px;
background-color:#949e7c;
background-image:none;
background-repeat:repeat;
color:#FFFFFF;
}

#banner p{
font-size:75%;
text-align:right;
margin:0;
padding:10px;
font-weight: bold;
}
thanks

never tried it but maybe
vertical-align: text-bottom;

by the way why do you have
background-repeat:repeat;

thanks,
splendid idea but it didn't seem to do anything.

by the way why do you have
background-repeat:repeat;oops, that was left over from trying out a background image. thanks, it is now removed.

BTW, are you really in Bali? I spent 3years as a child in Jakarta and have great memories of Bali! Hope you are enjoying your weather. We just got 2 feet of snow here in Cleveland!

Yes i am in Bali 8 years and love the weather although I still moan during the wet season. Before that I was lived in the caribean and before that in mediteranean countries. Snow whats that?

as for your text how about putting in a 'banner text div' and position it absolutely in your banner div. i am sure there is a simpler way though.
Anyone?

#banner p {margin-top: 30px;} adjust til it fits your page

Brilliant. Splendid. Thanks.
The ‘margin-top’ thing just created a lot of extra unwanted space in my banner. But…adjusting the top padding to 50px worked perfectly. Thanks again!
