Hi there,

ive just validated a site im working on, tweedmill.co.uk and it seems ive got a few problems, with some meta tag names and then the doctype and then some flash embedding.

the main issue is the meta tag names and the doctype. if anyone can help me with this, i would be very grateful.

You have defined your document as XHTML, while your meta tags are using HTML syntax.
All tags that does not have content, like IMG, META etc has to be closed within the tag like this:
<META content="text/html; charset=windows-1252" http-equiv=Content-Type />

Your validator should give you the same exact information I just gave you. Which one are you using?

Says right there in the first error:
You may have neglected to close an element, or perhaps you meant to "self-close" an element, that is, ending it with "/>" instead of ">".
