Hey everyone,

When I create tables in Dreamweaver and preview them in Safari, they appear exactly as I want them to. When I preview them in Firefox, they retain none of the attributes I set for them, such as border color or background color. Why would this be?

I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.8.

Thanks!

For Firefox and Opera I had to add <style type="text/css"> and also do a lot of shuffling around.

For example add this code which sets border settings.

<style type="text/css">
td {
border: 1px solid #FFFFFF;
}
.style45 {
font-family: Arial;
font-size: 12px;
}
</style>

Below head but before body. It depends what specific problems are there?

Thanks Rich. Do I need to add that even if I didn't create a CSS? I'm a beginner, so perhaps I created a CSS without knowing by using the table.

The issue is just that the colors appear different on different browsers. On Safari, it's white and black (which I designed). On Firefox and Camino, it's an ugly grey.

Here's the website:

Here's a Safari screenshot of what I want it to look like:

I'll try adding the code you suggested. Thanks!

Yea I think if you add that line it will set border width and colour in Firefox and Opera.

<style type="text/css">
td {
border: 1px solid #FFFFFF;
}
</style>
