Bonjour

What is the best way to put a video on a html page?

the video is in avi, in what format should I convert it?

Divx or fla?

How can I put it on the website?

Basicly, is there any tutorials you know that could show me how to put a video in the best format on a website?

post scriptum: my video is 3:33 minutes long and is 700mb in avi uncompressed format

thank you

I recently downloaded the 15 day trial of SwishMax ( www.swishzone.com ) which is a $99 (US) poor man's Flash. Not sure if this would work for you but worth a look. Incidently, during the free trial there are no watermarks, etc. It's a fully functional version.

import the avi file into the flash encoder and you'll get a flash video file, flv. Then link to it from your swf file.

If I want to play it in windows media, in what format should I put it?

Does everybody have Divx?
