Would anyone be able to explain what this error message means and what I can do about it?

It appears when I try to insert a table.

While executing object tag, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:

At line 17 of file "C:\program files\Macromdia\Dreamweaver MX 2004\ Configuration\Objects\Common\Table.htm”: exception thrown in native function

At line 203 of file "C:\program files\Macromdia\Dreamweaver MX 2004\ Configuration\Commands\TableCommands.js”\
TypeError: document [tableCellNames[i]] has no properties

i have had simlar errors in the past and some of my pages still throw an error in dreamweaver but work fine in the browser

its how dreamweaver builds and tracks pages using JS

create a new page and slowly paste blocks of code into this new page from the one thats corrupt running and testing as you go.

dont open that file in dreamweaver

open it in notepad but create your new page in dreamweaver then Alt + Tab between them both as you creat your new document

once done just delete the corrupt file
