Hi all. Hope you are all well. I have been asked to build a simple (ish) ecommerce website with a shopping cart on it. Is this possible to do in DW, also is it possible to do with no PHP or ASP experience, or should I simply post it on scriptlance or similar and get someone else to build it for me.

On a separate point, the company dont want to be messing about with hundreds of credit card transactions, so want the processing to be done by a third party, so that when the user clicks to finalise their shopping cart, that will be done elsewhere like Paypal for example. Do any of you have any good recommendations for companies that offer this service, and is it simple to set up. I have read on Paypals site, that they will handle all transactions and even clone your site to a degree so the shopper doesnt feel they are being pushed on to an outside party, and there is site continuity there.

All answers would be greatly received, Thank you if you are able to spare the time to help.

Thank you for those guys, I have downloaded the 30 day trial of Actinic.......and to be quite honest I dont know where to start. I have Dreamweaver version MX and Actinic says it will only integrate with DW6 onwards. DO any of the versions of DW actually have their own ecommerce carts included?

I've never used it, but it is a shopping cart thats used with Dreamweaver.
Might be worth looking at.
