Sorry - probably a very basic question!

I am using left and nested top frames on my homepage (made in DW8 and have named them main, top and left. When I insert a flash button (from the menus in DW8 and link it to another page, i choose mainFrame from the Target menu to open the page up in yet it open up in a new browswer window!

What am i doing wrong? I have tried naming the frames as mainFrame, leftFrame and topFrame to match the target options yet it still opens as a new window.

Please help!

Yeah I've just tried this and it does do what you say but only in IE in Firefox it seems fine.

Could be a known issue, try looking on Adobes site for help.

The other alternative is to do the buttons yourself in Flash this would definitely work as you want.

Or not use a frameset at all (search this forum for talks about it).
Then you don't need to set a target.
