Gday all,

This's probably an easy one but I can't for the life of me find the option; when an image is inserted into a cell for, lets say, the background splash graphic of a home page, how does one make it so the little 'image download symbol' does not appear in the topleft corner of it?

cheers
Mik.

It's an Internet Explorer 'feature' :mrgreen:

2 lines of meta tags will take care of it:
<meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="no">
<meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="false">

Cheers, thanx for that. Yeah, I've noticed them pop up when I've F12'd into Explorer for previewing. I've also noticed (I think) that if .gifs are used instead of .jpgs the symbol doesn't pop up
On that note; which are better for use for layout graphics, .jpgs or .gifs or other?

cheers,
Mik.

usually is gifs for flat coloured created graphics. jpegs more so for real life photos and graphics with gradients.
