Does anyone know anyone on here who can design me a logo for a reasonable price instead of the 150 quid all the others want to charge. I can send money via paypal.

whats your logo for?

is it for branding recognition

01-18-2007, 09:33 PM
It's for my new company that is being started on a shoestring budget. Therefore, 150 quid is too expensive. I know for a fact that if you know what your doing, logo design can be a 10 minute job if the customer supplies you with a design.

01-18-2007, 09:34 PM
I can do that for you for very cheap. But Davidj answered first so its only proper to hear him out first.

you have to understand that this has nothing to do with how long or how difficult it is

the job of a logo is recognition of a brand. Look at Orange or Nike and the simplicity of them but instantly recognisable

so give me a brief what your after

company name,
what does your company do

i hand you the baton

My brief is very simple.

The company is called Entertainment For You. Logo is to read e4u. It is a company supplying entertainment products. Video Games, DVD's and the rest.

The logo is to be red with a kind of diagonal half circle round it like a ring of Saturn, if you get my drift. With a clear background so it can be put straight onto paper for my letterhead.

Font is to be impact. I can do that, but I cannot get the ring around the words right. I would be grateful if anyone can supply designs, I would pay for the one that I like most.

e-mail is robfosters@btinternet.com if anyone wishes to send any designs.

The first one mentioned is my own design, but hopefully people can send others as well. I will consider them all. I hope the fee is okay. I am willing to pay 50 pounds for the design. Must be worth half hour of someone's time.

Many thanks

good brief rob

im sure we will have some takers

come on guys .. Help one of our members out and earn 50 larger tokens at the same time

anybody.. ?

Fist off sir: I don't recommend anyone email you anything without first quote and terms being established. Also a proper design and the amount of revenue it will generate should also effect the price. If you like to speak of the design please pm me direct. Not trying to cause an issue, but no designer should do the work without a contract in place.

01-19-2007, 01:08 PM
Asking for a contract for 50 quid?... give me a break.
I'm an advocate for signed contracts for projects, but this is helping another dw club member out and making a quick 50 on it at the same time like DJ said.

01-19-2007, 01:11 PM

i thought that contract request was a bit strong

what you going to do if he fails to pay... Sue him for 50 notes??

This is not my design, and you'll probably find variation of this free logo elsewhere on the net:

the author of this post is no longer interested in this

before everyone starts infighting and undercutting of work that i dont think exists anymore and also before people start borderline spamming i think we should stop this thread

the author can repost and bump this if he wants

ill wont close this for now

think thats fair to everyone
