Okay got another question for ya. I want to create a popup rollover similiar to that at ask.com except I supply the info instead of a website. Can you give me dreamweaver instructions, I have not fully grasped coding just yet.

In the Document window, place the insertion point where you want the to rollover image to appear.

In the Insert bar, select Common, then click the Rollover Image icon.
In the Insert bar, select Common, then drag the Rollover Image icon to the desired location in the Document window. Select Insert ---> Interactive Images ---> Rollover Image. The Insert Rollover Image dialog box appears. Complete the dialog box.

Click ok.

Simplest way is follow the on screen boxes after choosing insert --> rollover. Just play around and use it for what you want, text or images.

Even better. I love tooltips. There is a 'plugin' for Wordpress somewhere. I had it once its an Alexa tooltip and it shows your links as web pages provided Alexa has took the screenshots.

It worked great! But this time around (NEW INSTALL OF WP) it won't work for me...strange..

im sorry but if your looking for an extension to do everything you want then further down the line your going to run into trouble

the solution is to start working with code and then write your own solutions

I'm not kidding, this field is so dynamic that all I have to do is go on vacation for a month to be out of the loop a little. Keep reading and participate in forums like these, read online tutorials etc.

another tooltip, from brothercake:

the quickest way to learn is to keep building

every project you will come across a problem and you will learn something new everytime you solve it.

if your starting out get a good reference book. Something you can refer to when your stuck.

1st place to begin is...

www.w3schools.com (http://www.w3schools.com)

it will give you good grounding but choose your weapons wisely

html, javascript and CSS should be your starting points

My order is HTML, CSS, then javascript. Save the hardest for last.

go over the tuts but dont think you need to memorise what every HTML tag does or what every CSS style is for before you start developing because you dont.

The best way i found was to start by creating some fake company projects and sites. Start with a blank page and come up with a name for your make believe company and a discription of what they do or sell and the requirements for the web project and goals.

Then start building it.
