Hi,
I don't like that every file I open is organized in a tab. In previous versions, each file was a separate entity, and I could go back and forth with ctrl-tab.

Is it possible in DW8?

I also used to like being able to have the site files and the dreamweaver in separate windows? I mean, completely separate, so I can alternate too?

Thanks

just go to options in IE (cog icon)

in the Tabs section

click settings

then uncheck the Enable tabbed browsing

Thanks for trying to help. But my problem is in DW8, not IE.

Does anybody know how to do this?

THanks

Unmaximizing will separate the windows from te tabs, but they are still under only 1 DW window. Do you get what I mean?
Does anyone here remember how it used to be with older versions? Each file would be a whole separate window in Windows, you would see all of them in you task bar and you could alternate between them with ctrl+tab.

The same thing could be done with the files/ftp manager, it used to be separate.

Does anybody understand what I am trying to accomplish?

Thanks

Yup...

Right click the 'Insert' tab and then choose 'show as menu'
