alright. Sorta a newbie. Im going to try to explain my situation as best as possible.

(FYI : I'm using dreamweaver MX 2004, and Im building an online art portfolio.)

I've created a template for my pages which is working fine at this point. In the template Ive created the main navagation using image rollovers and then a secondary navagation using "buttons" made from text. Both of these navagtion systems are built into the template. The seconday navgation is set as an "editable region".

my question comes here.

When one of the text buttons is clicked and that page is loaded, I would like that button to stay "highlighted" (just like "bio" in the example), so how do I change the color of the text of that button? When I change it in that specifc page, nothing happens... it seems as though the color is "locked", but I left it as and ediable region in my template. help please

the image was created in photoshop to show wanted I wanted.
thanks

Hello djean and welcome to the forums!

Do you need this effect for the graphic nav items or the text nav items?

just the text.
