I have just updated one of two of my sites basically replacing tables with layers. and introducing more dynamic stuff. No man feat for a stumbling amateur.
I came to validating and am getting errors due to a script I include on the home page which tells the current temperature.
My question is what problems will this give me if I leave it in? Or.. what can I do about it?
the URL is http://www.concord-bali-villas.com
Could someone check the validation errors for me please

Can you quote the error you are getting?

As is often the way by posting it makes you look at the prob afresh., and I got it sorted. I will own up to it any way.
first the script

script src='http://voap.weather.com/weather/oap/IDXX0019?template=COLDV&par=null&unit=1&key=e2e085dcc51e6258d812504439c3277d'>

and the warning and error

This is generally the sign of an ampersand that was not properly escaped for inclusion in an attribute, in a href for example.
You will need to escape all instances of '&' into '&'.

I had tried replacing & with &amp which stopped it working, then realised it should be replaced with &.
If in doubt read the instructions!!

heh yeah, very true indeed :)
Those ampersand errors in URL's are the worst ones I like to fix.. I'd rather it would just be ok to have them there..

right we merely follow orders. i have now moved on to css validation which passed with warnings. Mainly for background colours omitted, which is fine I will amend that but I also have objections to color and background being the same.
Picky aren't they?
