im working on my homepage.

on every page of my site the banner will be the same. and the header.

how do i set these things for every page by default?? so i dont have to keep copying and pasting stuff every time i create a new page

You start by making one template, then you specify which elements should be changed by the templates (header, footer etc) and which should be updated on each individual page (content etc.)

Then you start making your pages from your template :)

\All covered in the help files of course, we don't have a tutorial on that, yet :oops:

if u can use php, asp or even shtml - then using that those types of server side html allows u to wrap up bit of code that are going to be the same on every page (eg, banner, footer, nav etc) and put them in a include control file.... so all u do is call the control where u want it to appear.

i think dreamweaver does have a similar function using .lib files (same principal as above).... if u have IIS installed i'd reccomend at least using .shtml
