View Full Version : Setting text

Hey everyone!

I am having issues with text setting in DW. Every time I do a hard return, I have ALOT of space between the paragraphs. I have CSS set up for the paragraph tag, and I've fiddled with the different text settings to get that space smaller, but no go...

Text basically looks like this:
This is a paragraph.

This is a second paragraph.

Here's the CSS for it:
p {
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 11px;
font-style: normal;
font-weight: normal;
color: #000000;
text-decoration: none;
padding: 10px;
letter-spacing: normal;
vertical-align: middle;
word-spacing: normal;
text-indent: 3px;
white-space: normal;
line-height: 15px;
margin: 10px;

What do I need to change so my text looks better?

Hiya Jasmine,
Decrease the 'padding' and 'margin' until you have a result you're satisfied with :)

I'll give it a try...I do still want to have some padding around the text so that it's not right to the edge of my layers...we'll see what I can come up with. :)

Sounds good, keep us updated :)

that worked pretty well! I never fiddled with those because I didn't want to mess up the padding in the layer, but it worked out really well...now the text looks much nicer!
