In looking at the source code of the Foo Fighters website (http://www.foofighters.com/) the images on the page are in pieces. I'd like to do the same thing with my band's website but have zero clue how to do stuff like that. Does anyone know how or know of a good tutorial so I can teach myself to do it?

I think it's probably what I'll need to do to make our site more dynamic looking. My latest test page (http://www.scifinmusic.com/biob.html)is just really plain and I want it to be better.[/url]

Hi scifin,
this technique is called 'slicing' and is usually done from Photoshop. We have no tutorial on this website for it, I wish we had, but here's a giigle search which yielded many great results:

Ok, I'll check out some of those tutorials. I didn't even know what to search for. Now if only I can get my crummy cs2 skills to improve I can maybe make this happen. giigle.
