Hey all,

im pulling out the big guns for this project (a government one) and have had some trouble researching how to counteract the opacity filter for text or image inside a div (parent) that alreadly has an opacity filter applied to it.

Eg, a left nav div with a solid bg color and an opacity of 60%. At the moment watever i put inside that div also inherits the parents opacity... so i've got text inside that is not readable.

i've attached a cropped screenshot to show u where im up to. Just wondering if anyone has seen or used opacity and if its possible to have stuff inside a filtered div that has no opacity set to it.
