I have a number of webpages all of which are created in coldfusion and dreamweaver.

For example, I have a webpage listing products, another for orders and another for customers.

On each page, there will be a link for deleting a record as well as updating the record. so instead of manually going to each page and creating the links, can it be coded as such so when the admin user is on the product list page, clicking on the links should then take them to the revelant pages? Same with the order list page and customer list page.

if the admin user is on product list page, then it should go to update or delete records page depending on what link they clicked. instead of doing this all manually.

Also I want to create a back button link that should go to the previous page the admin user was on.

Hi vampiro,
This is absolutely possible. Do you know coldfusion?

I do know the basics of coldfusion as I am a beginner.

How can I achieve this?

I've never worked (extensively) with Coldfusion, I was just trying to get a grasp of your knowledge level before I gave any advice :-)

I think if you go through the basics of how to develop applications with Coldfusion ( http://www.adobe.com/devnet/coldfusion/articles/rd_cf.html ) it should give you the skills needed to get through this with relative ease.

Adobes Developer Center for Coldfusion has lot's of other tutorials as well to take it further:
