I have a 14 megabyte wmv video file I have been given as a work project for a presentation

I was thinking of embedded video in a html file so that I can auto run the cd, any other suggestions appreciated

What I mean soad is that you said WORK PROJECT FOR PRESENTATION..
This to me sounds like some kind of test or exam and I feel I would not be helping you by helping.. get what I mean?

It is for one of the CDs that I produce for our sales dept, they are usually just pictures and text but now one of the sales guys has filmed some of our products and asked me to put them on a CD and I was wondering what the best method would be such as playing in a media player or as flash

Soad, I'm guessing the best bet would be to use a micrososft format of flash. Those 2 should be on most machines.
My guess is that CI will help you further here since he so badly misjudged your legitimate question ;)

I misjudged nothing.. the question was written where it could be taken in the context that I took it :P

Well simple really.. since you are opening an html page already why not just have that splash on that page and have that page redirect to the one that you want after the splash.
