I did use the search function in an attempt to find the answer to my problem prior to posting, but I can not make out anything that is being said. I have went a long time without making my sites compatible with browsers other then IE, but I just got put through the 3rd degree by a few individuals crying about it (personally, I can't stand FireFox). Anyway, here is one of the sites: www.triplemoonsexotic.com and the code. How can this be fixed in a simple manner? Thanks! :)

CSS:

If you are using tables why not just define the width etc in the table ?

Whats the css for ?

Triple, you didn't mention what needs fixing.

Sorry that I wasn't clear. :)

I need it compatible in FireFox. Evidently everything gets distorted in that browser.

Hehe, no you're not clear.
Can you please *specifically* tell us *what* is distorted, wrong etc :)

I pasted your code into my editor, saved the file locally, and viewed in Firefox and IE, all I get is a black page.

Can you publish the page somewhere temporarily, and let us know exactly what's going on?

It looks to me like the tables all align to the left rather then centered useing Mozilla.

CORRECT (IE):

INCORRECT (Mozilla):

do the header and the spacer images not belong inside the table <td><img/></td> ?

The two images that have slipped right on my browser are not inside the table with the others.

triplemoons

The images that are NOT inside tables are the ones the remain centered in the Mozilla screeenshot (yes, I did the on purpose). The problems result in the ones that are INSIDE a table.

Simple really remove the tables.
When you say not table.. are they divs?

triplemoons

If the tables are removed, the text will not be over the image.

domedia

Use a div instead, and use tables for tabular data like a schedule for train arrivals :-)

I don't know what a DIV is and it doesn't matter where I use the tables, they're distorted in Firefox.

All's I need is a simple fix for the tables so that everything shows up correctly in Firefox.

If that's not possible, then few people useing FireFox will just see my websites as distorted.

Umm that is more than a few as FF is gaining a large following.

You can set a background image with divs(layers)/css.

background-image:url(image.gif);
background-repeat:repeat-y;

Less then 5% on the 6 websites I'm monitoring are FF users. I would also think that the creators of FF would correct whatever issue it is that causes tables to get skewed if it's supposed to be the next great thing (personally, I can't stand the browser).

I still have no idea what's being talked about with "DIV."

All's I need is a simple fix so that tables show up properly in Firefox.
