woow... hey ALL.
dont kno if any of you have seen Dells latest laptop. (i only saw this for the first time last nit, so im not sure how long it has been released for)
This thing is such a beast, it makes me think Alien- what?...

The icing on the cake is the 20.1 inch lcd screen.... yes that sacrificies portability - but who the hell cares! (and besides if u can afford that laptop, you can prolly afford your own orderly to carry it for you)

Check out the showstopper here

mummy i want one!

but with a base price of 6k (aus) i dont think 10 years of christmas and birthday presents could make up for this baby. I also customized it on dell.com and got it up to a price tag of 8.9 k.

Hardly what I would call a laptop really. Also I am not keen on any Dell product and paying that much for one is way a no no.. rather buy a Mac laptop for that cost.

stick your solitare on this...

and at 207.3 teraflops only dreamweaver has the power to bring this to its knees

Some impressive specs - the 2Gb RAM figure jumped out at me right away. But, at 9 Kg (19.8 lbs.) for the computer alone I wouldn't want to lug it around too far or too often.....

It may not have a 20" screen, but it will blow away any other laptop in performance.

Was going to post a new message, but then saw this thread....

Anyone have any recommendations for a new PC (UK based)?

Ive been looking at a few PC world deals, and Dell
Ideally want a dual processor as my P4 laptop is sllllowwww when Ive got Photoshop & Dreamweaver or Illustrator & Photoshop running.

Any suggestions?
Thanks
