well it seems to work but i need to create a datase with various tables with a primary key 2 text fields and a link to image field if anyone has any ideas how i can suss out how to operate mysql in apache2triad or why i cant import an existng database created in access

You cannot use an access database in MySQL for the simple reason the structures are differant. You are going to have to CONVERT the access database to mysql.

To create a database with Apache2Triad in a web browser enter:
http://your_server_IP/apache2triadcp and enter the user name and password and from there click on the blue dolphin in the second row.

thanks creative i do apologise for not really understanding what im doing if its ok with you i would appreciate it if i could ask further questions, ive never used mysql so if youve got any pointers on how it all works it would be appreciated i think ican build thedatabase with access but how do i convert to mysql ?

forget access.. learn MySQL databases.
There is a heap of info on the net about it for beginners.
