Hi guys,

i'm working on my first PHP/mysql project in Dreamweaver. i'm using the tutorial here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/php_blog1.html.

i don't have a remote server, so i'm using iis.

my site definitions are as follows:

-http address: http://localhost/blog
-php/mysql server
-testing server: http://localhost/blog

now, when i try to connect to my database i get the following error:
your PHP server doesn't have the mysql module loaded or you can't use the mysql_(p) connect functions

the mysql server is: localhost
username: root

i have also uncommented the connection = php_mysql in php.ini

can someone help plz

Agree with dj.. IIS is horrid for php. Use Apache.. there is an app called Apache2Triad which comes with all you need and more.
