View Full Version : dam IE ignoring my height: value

Just getting the inital structure of a new site down and am running into 2 tiny probs already (In IE only - FireFox works fine)

Basically my header div of my content text box is not recongising my height value in the css, as it is a background image with a height and width.

Also you can see in IE how the repeating y border-shadow background img goes beyond the footer img, which it shouldnt (and doesnt in FF)

wondering if anyone can help me IE-i-fy this part of my site, as i've run outta ideas to try.

ok, fixed one more part of it (but the least annoying part)
added the ye olde no-repeat; to my background image and that fixed the footer part. but stil cant figure out what the hell is the deal with the (wat looks like extra padding) at the top of the shaded content box.
here is the element css' styles (am i missing somethin)
div.textBoxhdr {
width: 557px;
height: 7px!important;
margin: 0px;
background: url(../images/textBox_hdr.gif) no-repeat top left;
help pls ppl's
