View Full Version : Visible strip of background at top of browser window...

Hi,

I have set my page properties so that there are zero pixels set for both the top and left margins. The Dreamweaver document reflects this accurately in Design View. However, in both Safari and Firefox, there is a space of about 15 pixels showing between my layout and the top of the browser window, through which my background image is showing. I cannot seem to get rid of this, and would appreciate any advice.

Thanks a lot,

scotty

I think you had better post your code.

Thanks... here's the code for the page I'm trying to polish before I use it as a template. I'm sure it's messy towards the bottom --- it's a work in progress --- but I can't figure out why I'd have that band of background showing at the top of the browser window.

looks ok to me. I would check your settings in your external css sheet.
