View Full Version : A cheery hello

A came across this club in my trawl around the web for info on Dreamweaver - which I am manfully struggling with almost as we speak. The forums (fora?) looked clean, presentable and (hopefully) friendly so I decided to book a room.

I'm a Brit living near (but not in!) London and am looking to establish a presence in the web. I'm more of a writer than a designer so Dreamweaver looks to be ideal in helping me produce competant-looking sites.

I'm hoping you'll tolerate a lot of often-asked queries while I learn how to use this amazing bit of software.

Welcome RickB,
There's a silent british invasion here right now, I hope you'll feel at home ;)

Hi Rick

Welcome to the forum. Whereabout near London do you live? I used to live in South Norwood and West Croydon (but not at the same time). :)

Hi Andromeda,

I actually live in Surrey, but so close to the M25 that's it's almost London - hence 'London-ish'. I'm out to the west, not too far from Heathrow.

Thanks for the welcome, good to see so many fellow anglo-saxons in this forum!
