Does anyone know of a quick way of sampling colors off the web? If I see a site where I like the colors, is there a way of finding out the hex numbers? I know the long winded way (save as - edit with Dreamweaver etc) but is there a quick way?

Use firefox and the ColorZilla extension. It has an eyedropper that gives you the hex color for anything you put it on.

As an alternative use color picker, available here amongst other places. http://www.chunting.com/
