Hi Peoples
Anyone know if there's any point in taking 800x600 resolution into account when designing web sites. Do people still use those mkonitors??

Display Resolution
The current trend is that more and more computers are using a screen size of 1024x768 pixels or more:

January 2006

Higher >> 17%

1024x768 >> 57%

800x600 >> 20%

640x480 >> 0%

Unknown >> 6%

Web developers be aware: Many users still have only 800x600 display screens

Do people still use those mkonitors?? If you can get access to your own server stats, that would help you greatly. Find out how many of your users are using a lower screen resolution.
For me I'll be designing for 800*600 for a while, like davidj's stats above mine is around 20% as well.

Thanks for the statistics . Much appreciated.

Sounds like I'd better stick to including 800x600 just to be on the safe side. Hey Ho.
