Hi,
Can anyone help me here please?
How do I make a pop-up so I can get people to send me their email address (to start building my Opt-In list)?
I tried to search the forum, but can't find exactly this question.
A link to a tutorial would be great!

Also, once I've built this, where would the information (email addresses) be directed to (I'm presuming it'll be held on my host's server ???)

Many thanks in anticipation.

Oh oh . . . .. I just read somewhere about these sign-up subscription pop-ups being called "Squeeze" pages?

Now I'm confused!

Uhm.. not sure what it matters what other sources call them.. Can't help you with that.

For the form itself, there's several examples in this forum as well as from the homepage (tutorial)

Domedia,
thanks, but could you tell me what I'm looking for?
I've done a search but the info I'm getting isn't what I'm looking for.
I checked for "Subscription Form" & "Pop-Ups" also I looked at the Home Page, but I could only see tutorials for databases and drop down menu's.
Is this where I need to look.

Sorry, but I'm still quite new to all this.

There's many, many posts in this forum related to Forms and equally many related to how you make pop-up windows :)

Domedia,
sorry for the delay . . . . been away!
Thanks for the info . . . . . I tried to make a basic form using my trusty DW users manual, but just can't seem to get the page to send me the details despite using the "mailto:" command.
Sorry to ask this without checking your links first, but do i have to put a "send" function in somewhere . . .. if not, what's the principle of operation behind getting the page to "POST" the info in the forms/textfield to my email address?

Thanks . . . . just checking the links now!

You can't use mailto; read any of the tutorials above.
