Hi there, I am using an Access database with Dreamweaver and ASP. In this database i want to create a column with a number that increases every time someone searches that particular record. Anyone know how I should do this?

Thanks

Mal.

add a column to your database
[counter]

in the recordset SQL that searches the db read the value of the column
[recordset1]

after the recordset has read the result add an update statement
[update1]

then just increment by 1

sorry i cant give you any ASP examples but im a PHP ninja
