Hi all,

As ever im here for feedback on a site design,

its for a local restaurant, they asked for 'traditional & contemporary'
www.theroyalspice.co.uk

Let me know your thoughts, and suggestions!

I like it. although the banner doesnt do it justice

I would use some indian stock photos with spices and lots of colour.

the layout and style is nice but i think if you got the right banner then you will have a winner.

you could incorporate some traditional patterns in the bg

to sum up...
change the banner of empty tables and you've cracked it

OK thanks guys!

The client wants pictures of the restaurant in the banner, only had a few photos --and that was the best! going to get some better shots though so will try them :D

Good thinking on the location in top banner, Im trying to get a google map working on the location page so that should help!

Thanks,
Greg

if you have to use pictures of the restaurant then use ones where its full of people

I like the look,
but here is my suggestion

Take the border completely off top picture or add colour to match the menu yellowish colour

regards Blanchard :)

Hmm the banner looks ok but where are all the people? Gives the apperance that the place is deserted.. I would have a banner with more seated people. Just so it makes it look busy and popular.

in addition i think it would make the page alot nicer if u used another image in your footer, one that gives it a gradient so it isnt full white to the solid bg image.

use it in a include file so u dont have to make changes to all ur site
cheers

The image of the building looks blurred or un focussed. could be my crappy monitor though
