I am relatively new to Dreamweaver but I am looking to create some tables where the users of my site can sort the table themselves by choosing a column from that table (here is an example of one: http://www.myworld21.co.uk/Giants.htm) I want the user to be able to sort the table by however they want to view the statistics, but for the table to be sorted by total points by default.

any idea how I can do this? are there an good on-line tutorials for this? I am not great at the actual programming of html so any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

you cant sort html tables if the data is not dynamic (database or xml driven for example)

you will need to load your data into the table using a scripting language like PHP or ASP

do you know any scripting languages

steven, this would be a great project to learn how to put your data into a database, and then learn how to grab it and display on a page :)

If you go to the front end you will see a heap of vtms that will show you much of what you need to know.

1. A testing server. That is a system with Apache, Mysql and php installed on.
2. DW
3. Persistance.
