Hi there people.

ok so here is my problem, i have a blank empty html page and using dreamweavers tools i am inserting a flash video, all goes well until this error appears

url cannot contain spaces or special characters, change the path name or file name and try again.

So i named the file, one, and i still get the same error.

would it be best just to import the movie clip in its raw format, wmv.file?

so what i did was upload the the file directly and then dragged the file onto my html page using dreamweaver.

but i get this error about cannot find plugin.

any ideas.

I treat flash as the best way to stream video
Well, I hope you are trying to add SWF file in dreamweaver.

I just define the process in simple steps
-Export your movie file from flash
-You get a SWF file as an output
- Open dreamweaver
Insert - Media -flash or press CTRL+ALT+F and select your SWF file.
- Save the dreamweaver page and thats it.

Hi there,

Thanks for the quick email.

Another question, do you make the movie controls in flash yourself or do you use the controls dreamweaver provides when you insert a flash video?

The best approach is to make your controls in Flash itself and then import it ti DW.
