I take it you mean .flv

Make sure you follow the instruction carefully when doing this. The screen in the process called 'Finish Video Import' gives you detailed information.

I'm no flash guru, I have only been successful doing this by just doing file->import and following the instructions without actually reading the manual on this.

In your code you have autoplay=false
change it to autoplay=true

actually streaming video is WMV, but it also very big.

the best way for video casting is flash.
just convert your avi to flash and put it on the web
you can use even a simple version of video to flash converter (http://geovid.com/Video_to_Flash_Converter/) instead of using pro version (i use pro) with many extra features. easily use this converter, it will be automatically will be generated in html.

or you can wait for VidFlash - online converting service (http://www.vidlash.com), you will not need ANY converters, just send this file on their server and convert it in a needed format, then you will got it converted and linked, coz there is also will be web casting. This service will starts in middle April.

good luck!!! 8)

Just a small note. AVI is not and I repeat not a web friendly format. Like what is said convert to flash or use quicktime.
