I have a MS Word 2003 document with links in it, both URLs and email addresses. My three programs for creating a PDF do not seem to allow the links to work. What do I need to know about creating a PDF with active links?

Some of the links are to a web site I support.

That's why he posted in the dw club cafe forum, as this is the place for *everything* else, it wasn't that bad..

And true, we only generate PDF's through PHP here as well :?

i didnt say it was bad just gave him an indication of the chance/possibility of a solution to his problem on this forum

he needs to go to expert-exchange for that type of question

If you would actually tell us what kind of software you're using it would be simpler? lol ;)
Here's some help that might work out for you.
Acrobat has this feature, go to Tools / Locate Web Addresses / Create web links from urls in text.
You only need a copy of Adobe Exchange to create .pdf files.
You have to use the PDFMaker macro that comes with Acrobat and gets installed in MS Word. You should have a PDF icon on the Word toolbar. This will convert link in Word to links in the PDF.
