How can we add a site counter in an html site, that gives us which people have seen the site (ip, time, etc)?
I don't want the counter to be seen by other people!

Hi there,
There are many free counters which give you all the stats.
Try this it is a good free counter
http://www.statcounter.com

You have an option for a invisible counter here, just select that and add the genrated HTML code to your page.

LNinio, if you want detailed information about your visitors, it's already being logged by your host, most likely.

Ask you host if they have any applications that interpret your website's server log. Typical ones are AWStats, Webalizer, but there's also some amazing free solutions for this. By far my favorite is http://www.google.com/analytics/.

An email to your host is the first thing you should dos
