"Google Sitemaps is an easy way for you to submit all your URLs to the Google index and obtain detailed reports about the visibility of your pages on Google. With Google Sitemaps, you can automatically keep us informed of all your web pages, and when you make changes to these pages to help improve your coverage in the Google crawl."

Anyone got experience of adding their site with the G Sitemap?

Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,
Google sitemaps are indeed a good method to get you website noticed by crawlers quickly.
Adding your site to Google sitemaps is fairly easy.
we make a account with google sitemaps, submit your URL and for verification
they will ask you to create a file with a specific name and upload it to a specific directory.

When ever you update your site content update the sitemap and it fastens the crawling process.

Google sitemaps are cool.
I'm hoping they can turn that whole area into a web publisher 'control panel' where they could add more features and services ;)

oh, if you guys think sitemaps are cool, you HAVE to check out analytics:
http://www.google.com/analytics/ it's amazing..
