View Full Version : image/header tiling and fixing.

right if I can explain this then great!
webpage is centred with image/header with buttons at top (no problem)
two things:

1. I have a small image that is at both ends of image/header, what i'd like to be able to do is when the browsing window/resoluation changes the end images just tile according to window/resolution.

2. How to you fix the image/header to stay at the top of the window so that when you scroll down the image stays there.

Hope that makes sense. :P

1: this really depends on website. Code/url?
2. I think you need some conbination of css/js. I don't have code for that handy, maybe later

Having the header stay in place while a page is scrolled it normally done with framesets. But framesets are so last week.

Unormally done with frameset, again you don't need to make a whole new page(s) just to achieve a design feature. It's fully possible to add a persistent layer/div that does not move..

thebaldone, just out of curiosity, why do you need it? It's ussualy *really* distracting/irritating.
