Iframes need a starting page like:

<iframe src="start_page.php" width="300" height="500" frameborder=0 scrolling="yes"></iframe>

Now start_page.php would need to be in the same location as your page with the iframe. If the iframe page is in a differant directory such as inc, then it would look like this:
<iframe src="inc/start_page.php" width="300" height="500" frameborder=0 scrolling="yes"></iframe>

Like you just said.
get the ftp details from your hoster and then config your ftp client as per the hosters settings and then upload them to the public_html or www folder of your webserver.

Absolutely good for beginners. I wish I had this training when I started.
