View Full Version : How to move text in a table

I have about 5 lines of text in a table, with "read more" text (soon to be a link) at the end of the paragraph, I need to move the "read more" text to the end of the bottom line, on the right hand side of the table, rather than directly at the end of the last sentence.

I want to just place the curser in front of the text I want to move and just move it with the space bar, but nothing happens, if I select required text and select "align right" all the text in the table moves to the right.

How do I move a few words of text over a few spaces if the spacebar wont work?

in HTML a space is only one space no matter how many times you insert it.
I suggest you hit <enter> instead, which will create another paragraph. Paragraphs (

)'s are block elements, meaning they start on a new line, and they have some default margin you might take advantage of.

Why not just create another row in your table and then align that right and place the read more link there.

You could use "" which is the code for a non-breaking space.....

john they are ugly in this situation and will change the placement of the link depending on the viewers resolution. Which will not make it right aligned.
