Hi CI and all,

yest my question got answer, but stil have a lil problem.
the graphic is not clear at all in the broswer
streetvoices ('http://www.streetvoices.com.au/newsite/index.asp')

any ideas ???
i've attached 4 versions of the graphic. (bmp, gif, swf, and png) - lol sorry for so many, but just in case...

i thought a vector would make it less fuzzy... or maybe it is just the graphic to begin with as its a weird text logo.

appreciate any help
Chris

I know what it is.. The bg.. I will do it again and remove the BG colour and make it transparent and that should improve it heaps.

Just gotta check out my new VST first.

OK.. right your problem is that you are trying to fit too many pixels in a very small area which when resize to 16x? it is going to push all that info into a smaller image and some of the pixels can't do anything else but merge with other pixels which will give that blured look. Try design an icon with not so much in it, or some more solid areas. If you look at my icon on webthings.org you will see that it is a lot of pixels, but because they make up a box or a circle you do not notice the merging pixels and hence I don't get that blured look.
What about just the tree thing in the center as the favicon instead of the word and tree thing. That would work.

Nice site chris.. but can I suggest that you add the shadow to the curve in your header as well? Just looks wrong with the ds on the sides and not there.

But nice site anyway and the icon looks way better as just one object.
