In the page below, I wish for the window (pop-up) to open with a specified size, without the possibility of closing the window from the navigation bar, without the possibility of re-sizing the window or changing its location in the browser.

Basically I want it to open, not to move, to stay the same size and I want the user to click into one of the links to access the site. I don't want him to be able to click on the "x" on the navigation bar to close the window.

Where did I go wrong?
Thank you, your help will be appreciated.

I'm sorry I may be repeating myself, but I posted a message earlier and got no answers. Maybe I wasn't clear, pardon my english...

On my upcoming website, I wish for a pop-up to appear when the index is loading. The thing is, I want this pop-up to have specific attributes. I actually determined all those details in «open new window» in the behavior list, but it doesn't match what I asked for. There are a few checkboxes such as :

Tool Bar
Adress Bar
Status Bar
Menu
Scroll
Resizing Handles

I checked none of those but they are all available when I open it in my browser (safari on mac).
Does anyone understand?

PS. I may have incorrect terms because my software is in french!!! If you wish to see the html code, check out my older message posted last week.

Thank you very much.

you can use a popup but you cant fix it not to move without being really anoying
you can control the size but you cant disable the x without being really anoying

Once again, I'm sorry for posting the same problem twice...

davidj > how would I manage to simply remove the navigation bar from my window and to have it fixed to a specific size? I guess I won't make it a pop-up but simply an opening page...

Thank you sincerely.

heres an easier suggestion that may work. If the pop window is just for a larger thumbnail, then what you could do is:
Transfer the image into a new photoshop document (the correct image/doc size etc), highlight all (ctrl a) then file -> save as web.

this will save the image as a html page (so you cant resize it ??)

anyways worth a shot as its so simple
