Hello,

Im trying to allign my form up correctly. Ive created a form field, and then put a table in it. Then i put the text in the first column and the the text boxes in the 2nd column. However, the text boxes do not appear in the 2nd column, they only show when i put them in the first column. how do i fix this?

Sorry for the stupid question.

Alex

Could you post your HTML code for the form please.

Then we can look at it and help you...

The width attribute of your table tag has a crazy value<table width="500%" border="0" align="right" cellspacing="0">

Change it to 100%. 500% means 5 times the available width, so the most of your form is not even displaying in the browser window.

fantastic. did the trick. not sure why it was on 500% :)

thanks very much.

Hello,

one last question. Im trying to get the form to send the contents to a email address. I have just added the buttons and my hosting company uses cgiemail. i have made a template for the form with the right &&fields. Think ive done all that right, and made 2 hidden files in the form, one showing the location of the email template, and one showing the email address i want it sent to. That seems to be the end of the of tutorial, it does not mention what i need to do with the submit button?

thanks

You will need to get the name of the cgi script from your host, and the path to it.
Then you need to modify this line with the correct info..

<form name="form1" method="post" action="./usr/bin/cgiemail.pl">

Just put in the correct path & name of the cgi script in action=

You will also have to modify the cgi script with the email address you want it sent to
There may be more options in their script, so you will have to check with your host.
