Ok I've finally decided to take the plunge and create my first Dreamweaver website and I want to use flash in it as well. In fact here is a good idea of the basic way I want it to look...

http://www.10in4.com/ ('http://www.10in4.com/')

I really like how when the page opens up the flash animation streams across the top. I also like how the top background clouds keep moving and how the buttons react and make a sound when you hover your mouse pointer over them. I would also like to add a menu in flash vertically down the left side.

Can someone give me some tips and help me get started on something like this? I've never worked with Dreaweaver or Flash before. Maybe there are some Dreamweaver and Flash tutorials I could go through?

Thanks a bunch, and I'm very glad to be here! :)

You are going to have to do a lot of studying first.

Neither Dreamweaver or Flash is just a click this button to make a web site.

First you have to learn how to create a website with HTML/XHTML
Then you will have to learn how to make movies with Flash.

Then you will have to learn how to use Dreamweaver to put it all together.

Go to your library and get some books, and study, study, study.

Then we can help you with any problems you may have.

The only way you can speed this up is by buying a website template and modify it for your use. However you won't learn as much this way.

Wow if you have never done flash before and you want to create a header like that then you are taking some mighty big strides here.
Ok the DW help files are pretty good in getting you started on understanding DW, also macromedia's site has some excellent tuts.
For the flash stuff go to http://www.flashkit.com ('http://www.flashkit.com')
